Many people when thinking of a Holiday in April ask whether Mallorca is a good option as it is not quite Summer, and they wonder whether the weather is good or what there is to do. It is actually a really good time because not only are the prices more affordable for both hotels and flights but also the weather is mostly very good, and the beaches are not as busy as in the months of July and August.
Although the water parks are not open as they need the resorts to be very busy in order to have enough footfall there is still plenty to do on the Island. In the daytime you have places like the Aquarium, Marineland and Katmandu and for a good night out both Pirates Adventure and Son Amar are open a few nights each week. Remember there is Pirates Reloaded for those wanting a more adult only show plus they have the Gringos Bingo which again is just for adults and both are a great night out.
Those who want to see more of the Island itself either on a tour or going at their own pace then there is so much to see and do. A visit to the capital Palma is a must and there are some bus tours available but I would recommend either go by local bus if you are staying in the south west side of the Island like Palma Nova, Magaluf, Santa Ponsa, Soller, or Andratx or by car as it is not too far. If you are staying in the north or east of the Island then again it is possible by local bus however it is a long journey so going on an organised tour or by car is a lot easier.
There are so many other places to go by either bus tour or driving such as the Caves of Drach, Port of Soller and Formentor as well as many beaches and markets.
